Dog Clothes

Furry dogs are very stylish and their style varies as they come but we humans are pre-occupied with aninfectious fantasy world of our own and even dogs take on some of the spirit of their owners and they liketo wear clean, beautiful and stylish outfits sometimes. Convinient dog clothes should be easily washable andshould not shrink easily.Fabric is an important factor and if you can sew a little, it can save you much money and come up withbetter designs and patterns. They should be capable of keeping the pooch dry, warm and save it from natural climatic conditions like rain, wind and storm. There are some latest style of dog clothes which include reflective materials that make it easy to search the dog and stitching that is not visible on top. Clothes which are convinient for active dogs should be designed especially to keep them from getting scratches and cuts in the woods by the sharp bushes and splintering brambles. Sometimes, even the long furry dogs may need coats to protect them from chilly winds in cold weather.

 

Clothes for dogs should have a good fitting. It needs to be seen that their coats, boots, vests and hats should not be very tight and should be kept securely in some place while the dog has gone out on hunt or a hike with you. Rough terrain, rough bushes and elements of weather can be a pain in neck for you as well as for the dog, so the clothes for outdoors must be sturdy enough to protect them. The coat type of a dog also determines the type of clothes that need to be choosen for a dog. While dogs with short hair may suffer more from rain and cold, dogs with thick fur may absorb lots of water. While fleece dog clothing is suitable for cold windy days, they are not good enough for rain and thorns. Most ideal dog coat is a warm fleece lining and a durable nylon shell.

Raincoats play a good role in protecting him from the rain and cold too. Raincoat should be choosen in such a way that it covers the body, saves the head like a hat with flaps to cover the ears. Such type of coats which extend to the underside of the dog should have a hole at the rear end so as to allow the dog to urinate. The clothes should protect your canine companion from thorns and bugs. The clothes should be sewedin such a way that allows the dog to have a full range of motion and should not restrict its motions capabilities, especially those of legs. In order for the dog not to get distracted by the garments lining, stitching etc the garments should have clean lines and invisible close stitching otherwise the dog may be prompted to chew the same. Large pet stores normally keep clothes for particular breeds of dogs which are not readily available. These are specially designed to suit their comforts and needs.
